The Family Resource Centre receives core funding from TUSLA, the Child and Family Agency. This funding offsets the salaries of a full-time Project Coordinator, an Administrator and a Development Worker.
Any other activities and costs are sourced from various sources by staff and volunteers. To date, we have been successful in accessing funding for two part-time Parent Support Workers through TUSLA. The HSE, LCETB, Ballyhoura Development Ltd., Limerick City and County Council all support various work areas.
Many of the programmes are possible due to Philanthropical initiatives where we are informed of funds and apply according to defined requirements.
Participants on various programmes pay a nominal fee.
We do not fundraise in the community.
As a charity we are very conscious of accountability and transparency in our work. We regularly review and update our financial protocols. Please see the publications section for our latest audited accounts.
