Hospital FRC works with local and regional service providers to distribute information regarding addiction issues and increase access to support services.
In 2014 as part of Limerick Drug & Alcohol Awareness Week Hospital FRC hosted the ‘Get High on Health’ event at which a variety of service providers presented information to young people from local schools and training centres.
We have also supported information evenings in the Knocklong community and developed a leaflet outlining drug and alcohol supports in the area.
The FRC provides outreach services from CSMT and other addiction services, hosts AA and Al-Anon meetings and has supported Nar-anon to hold meetings in the centre.
