A Sub-Committee is generally made up of members of the Voluntary Board of Directors. Sub-Committees are responsible to the Voluntary Board for their actions. While Sub-Committees are made up of members of the Voluntary Board, they may also contain non-board members with specific expertise in a relevant area. Each acts on behalf of the Board in their area of competence.
The following is a list of sub-committees and those who sit on them here at Hospital FRC. From time to time temporary committees will be set up to oversee a particular piece of work.

A number of other sub-groups also feed into the work of the centre. These include the Volunteer Forum, Step Forward Group, the Parent Support Steering Group and Volunteer Groups supporting work with Older People in Galbally, Kilteely and Hospital.
