Mary McGrath (Coordinator)

Mary was the first employee of Hospital Family Resource Centre way back in 2003 and has overseen the growth of the centre ever since then. As senior manager she manages day to day affairs and supports the board around the strategic direction of the centre. Originally from the Marble City she supports the “Shannonsiders” when the black and amber are taking a rest.

Martha Potter

Martha Potter (Development Worker)

Martha joined Hospital FRC in 2005. She divides her time equally as coordinator of the Strengthening Families Programme, working with older people, Step Forward Disability Group and other groups facilitated by the centre. Her time is spent both in the centre and travelling throughout the community. Martha made her stage debut during 2012 in the Effin production of Robin Hood.

Michelle Stack

Michelle Stack (Parent Support Worker)

Michelle has been with the centre since 2005 and runs the Parent Support Programme with her colleague Phil Lockhart. Together they facilitate Parent & Toddler Groups and offer individual support. Michelle is a staunch Rebelette flying the Cork Flag at every opportunity.

Phil Lockhart (Parent Support Worker)

Phil has been with the centre since 2004 and runs the Parent Support Programme with her colleague Michelle Stack. Together they facilitate the Parent and Toddler Groups and offer individual support. Phil is sport mad and has been to a number of Heineken Cup Finals supporting her beloved Munster.

AnneMarie Hayes (Administrator)

AnneMarie joined the team in 2019. She is the administrative hub of the centre making sure everything runs smoothly. She also supports the counselling service and manages the finances ensuring Hospital FRC stays afloat from year to year. AnneMarie keeps fit playing football with the Mothers and Others in her spare time.

Teresa Woods (Cleaner)​

Teresa keeps groups at the Centre well supplied with tea and snacks.

Agniescka Linowski (Cleaner)

Originally from the north of Poland and living in Ireland since 2005, Agniescka is responsible for keeping the centre spic and span.

Maria Frazer (Reception & Education Administrator)

Maria is the welcoming face when people arrive in the door or phone with a query. Maria also supports the education and adult learning in the Centre.

Sarah Daly (Reception & Social Media)

Sarah is the welcoming face when people arrive in the door or phone with a query. Sarah also coordinates the social media news and information for the Centre.

Christopher Reale and Maurice Joyce (Caretaking)

Christy and Maurice keep the Centre looking great. They are there to assist groups and help out with day to day upkeep, opening and closing of the building.

Siobhan Rogers (Reception & Administration)

Originally from South Africa, Siobhan has been around the Centre since her primary school years. She also volunteers with the Food Bank.

Problem Gambling

Brenda O'Keeffe (Counsellor)

We provide counselling for people experiencing problem gambling, including those impacted by the gambler’s behaviour. Our service is confidential. The service is provided by Brenda O’Keeffe, a fully accredited psychotherapist who has undertaken additional training in University College Cork to respond to problem gambling.
