Galbally Senior Citizens came together for their February Get-together and enjoyed painting with Harriett Cunningham, music with the McCarthy’s, pancakes, raffle and 
refreshments. Also the group said a sad farewell to the volunteers who have supported the get-togethers, yearly day trip, mini breaks in Galbally over the last 10 years as they are stepping back as a committee. Hospital FRC would like to thank Mary Margaret Vallence, Mary Wallace, Catherine O’Donnell, Margaret Brown and Marie Cunningham for all their hard work and support of activities for older people; this committee has given a great service to the community and to its older citizens and will be sadly missed by the group and Hospital Family Resource Centre. Due to this change in support for the group Hospital FRC are now recruiting new volunteer committee, if you have time to give to support monthly get-togethers, day trips etc. for older people in the community please contact Martha Potter, Development Worker with Hospital FRC at 087 2813341 for more information.
